Game of ‘Mons

But they aren’t white and are no longer fetuses, so no pro-lifers really care…

There was a Pokémon Livestream last night. The best way to sum it up?

We’re getting a game that is the opposite of Go; instead of walking, this tracks sleeping. It’s called Pokémon Sleep, though I think “Snooze” might have been a bit better. But that’s just me. However, that’s not the biggest news, at least in my opinion.

Pokémon Bank is getting an upgrade. And we’ll be able to access our accounts on multiple platforms.

It’s named Pokémon Home. It will function with the Nintendo Switch, the Nintendo 3DS, and smartphones. Not only will we be able to move our beloved Pokémon partners to the newest games, we will also be able to trade with our friends.

Hype? Oh, you better believe it.

We’re also getting Pokémon Masters, which will allow us to battle Trainers and their partner ‘Mon from every Region. So we finally get the game that so many people were howling about; can they drop it now? But I digress.

On the Fifth, we’re getting a Sword and Shield Livestream; I can’t wait to see what might be revealed. It’s going to be an interesting few months.

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
