More Hype!

We’ve gotten another trailer for Transformers: EarthSpark, which is coming soon to Paramount+. I have a few thoughts about this, so let’s get started!

-“Bumblebee’s gonna live with us!” made this instantly relatable. The nine year old kid in me squealed!

-The town is known as “Witwicky”. Perfect.

-Our newest bots look like they’re going to be trouble, but they’re also adorable so I think I’m already in love.

-It looks like the main villain is a xenophobic human. Good. My opinion of humanity has sunk faster than a boulder dropped in the Atlantic Ocean, so I can definitely get behind this.

-Megatron’s introduction had me. I honestly thought, “Oh crap, this is so not good”, until the kids’ mother calls him “Megs” and says he knows how to make an entrance. Looks like we’re getting a redeemed form of the former Decepticon leader and I am here for it.

-Seems the Decepticons are working with the human villain on some level. I have all ideas that both are going to betray each other because there’s no honor among either of them.

-I swear, if those are freaking Scraplets…!

-We have both Elita-1 and Arcee. I am loving that.

In other Transformers news: Pete Davidson and Michelle Yeoh are joining the cast of ‘Rise of the Beasts’. Davidson is apparently Mirage while Michelle Yeoh will be Airazor. I don’t have much of an opinion about Davidson, but Michelle Yeoh? As in Philippa Georgiou from Star Trek: Discovery? In freaking Transformers? That is one massive “Oh hell to the yeah!” As you can imagine, I am massively hyped!

The next few months are going to be amazing and I can’t wait! What a time to be a Transformers fan!

About Silverwynde

I'm a Transformers fan, Pokémon player, Brewers fan and all-out general nerd. I rescue abandoned Golett, collect as many Bumblebee decoys and figures as I can find and I've attended every BotCon--official and non--since 1999. I'm also happily married to a fellow Transfan named Prime and we were both owned by a very intelligent half-Siamese cat, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on June 16, 2018. We still miss him. But we're now the acting staff of a Maine Coon kitty named Lulu, who pretty much rules the house. Not that we're complaining about that.
